VAT calculated at checkout for EU, and other UK rules

We are happy to announce that we are now shipping all packages to EU as Duties and Taxes Paid. You will now pay the estimated VAT to us on shipment and we will pay the VAT to your country through DHL. The amount will be calculated on checkout. 

This means that there are no extra charges for handling your package on import, which was a deal breaker for EU-customers before. The package will pass swiftly through customs. 

UK customers will have to pay VAT on import. 

Unrelated to these changes, new VAT-systems are coming to the EU(and already for the UK) and you need to follow these rules when ordering from Mekanisk:

• UK and EU customers needs to spend atleast 199 USD per order before VAT, excluding shipping. 

If you do not order for at least 199 USD to these locations, your order will be cancelled.

Your order will ship with duties and taxes paid by Mekanisk and arrive at your door at no extra cost. 

 

* estimated VAT paid to Mekanisk by you may be different than the VAT we are charged upon delivery due to differences in currency over time. In most cases, Mekanisk will have to cover due to set fees that are required for us to be able to do this. There will be no notice given on this, and the estimated VAT you pay on checkout is final.
